Roof Replacement- Central Islip, NY

The new homeowner from Central Islip, NY reached out to Klaus Roofing Systems by Triple H with concerns about her roof. She had recently purchased the home and had thought it had a new roof.  After having her attic insulated, she realized the roof deck looked wet, with the upcoming winter in mind she wanted to have it evaluated. When our representative arrived, it was clear that the previous roofing company did not cut the wood for the ridge vent. This caused there to be little to no ventilation and all the roof decking had rotted. The entire roof was ripped off. We had to install several new boards of plywood before we could install the new SealoronXt Ice & Water shield and Velora one synthetic underlayment. Then we installed the new IKO Dynasty lifetime shingles. The new roof changed the appearance of the home drastically. The customer was very happy to know that her roof was installed correctly this time and she would not have to worry about the winter months.
